Well we’re adjusting to life with a young and energetic dog. It is nice to have a furry friend around the house. He is house trained, likes to cuddle, and is a quick learner. He does need walks and more play time which is exactly what we wanted. He wants to play more that we do sometimes. He is a counter surfer and being a young male has quite the appetite. He has pilfered and eaten, not all at once, a loaf of bread, 12 whole wheat mini bagels, not to mention all the treats from the kids. He plays tug of war and some fetch. The problem with fetch is that Mr. Sniffer doesn’t want to bring it back. We’re working on that. We’re also working on not eating all of the baby’s toys. The baby’s toys conveniently end up on the floor sooner or later thus making them great for chewing! Not exactly sure what to do about that but we’ll visit with a dog trainer soon!

I am so glad he is working out, he seems like a sweetie! The scrounging for food is a bummer– Ruby has never gotten over it since that first corned beef! I hope your young man is not like her! The kids really seem to like him from the pics!
